excitement
...I feel it again. After this period of emptyness and being lazy I am half-foot back into life. I' m excited...yes I am!
Work seems to turn into a positive direction and in somehow I am absolutely not nervous looking forward the first day in Frankfurt.
The head of engineering called me today and explained some details of the development and some of the benchmark caculations I will perform within the first weeks. He was very fortune about me fitting perfect into the team, specialised in ProEngineer and Fluent, working hand in hand with the Catia and Solid Work Pro's.
There is lot's of feedback now, and it is actually the first time tho ... it feels fucking good! There is so much appreciation, that much as it usually has to be everywhere.
Additional information also made me feel like packing my bags again and travel. A subsidiary is located in Singapore too (which I didn't know) plus loads of travel-oportunities throughout the whole wide world....yeeehaaa! Some good deal with my salary was also made and the benefits at the end of the year are giving me this strange grin, which I haven't had since I sold my VW T3 to Nigeria in 2005.
It's been a long time, to be precise from September 2001, since I had my last own car. Wow! I mean it worked out...but now it's time for a new one. You can't imagine how it is being stuck permanently, or to depend on others. Mobility is one of the best goodies and it is essential...like brushing teeth for example. Well, the company car is waiting for me to push the limits on German highways hehhe...what more can I say?
