after all that

...there shall be a bit more deeper stuff than it was the other blogs before...

Sittin' at my flat at the tenth floor of the staff apartments, watching the sunset and hoping that it is not starting to rain again.

...thinking for myself again...

Last nite there were a couple of things going wrong, but...f**k...so what! That's life - never like it is supposed to be all right!? So, I guess I'll better go and forget that crap soon.

Well, it also seems that it' been a decade since I left Wales the last time. Must be the weather. Anyhow, there is still left a bit of this familiar feeling when I sometimes think of it. I have to agree that the last trip to that part of the world was perhaps a wrong decision, some people who read this know the reason why. There was this strange mood all over this place, and all the time it seemed to me like a farewell; not only to this place in general.

In someway it surprised me how I assimilated with that island. I mean, I never thought that this is going to be like that before.

Yeah, and of course, Singapore as well!

Aim or die!

bringing back the joy of life

Got some refreshing news in my luggies...actually not for you guys, hehe! Just came back from skating and feel like really alive, like write down some stuff...

Well, my project is running a bit better plus I received a li'l feedback from home. It was long overdue to kill this lack of motivation at all!

At the moment it feels more like having the longest vacation ever, especially when I read the wheather update for Germany every morning. Fifty degrees Celcius difference is a word, don't you think so!? The coldest and thus the lowest ever recorded temperature in Singapore was 19.6°C in 1936...brrrrrrr!

Also the next trip is planned. First it was supposed to be the Phillipines for one of the nicest divespots tho, but unfortunately the time is really running out for all those exciting countries. Now it's Thailand again on 13th of February...couldn't go better for me! Feel like go diving again...

The crazy thing about it is that i am going back there again in March with my Dad, seems to be a quite lucky guy that German...huh? It is more for the Malaysian F1 GP in KL, than for the Thailand - thing, but, i mean if we' re in that region anyway...why not go there back again?!

Hehe...

Well, what else...let me do this resume...

Collected some new pictures of funny signs! In some of the next posts...
Also some news taken out of the singaporian Straits: It says that a man was arrested for walking around naked in his own flat! Imagine that, in his own flat! but after a little research I found out that there is a law for that in Singapore! Will go to jail the next couple of days, I guess :-)

Another funny thing was the advertisement for mobile phone desinfection lotion with some nice and many different scents! So for all you sticky hands out there...be ready for the cleanest and most refreshing cell phone ever!

Ring ring...

untitled

Today is the first day I really, I mean really feel like going home. I cannot exactly describe those feelings, but one thing I can say: it sucks!

I don't know what it is, but people here are making me feel more lonely every day. The more days passin' by, the more I feel like missing the best part of my life...

I mean, I already gave up the hope for support on my work, either from my supervisor over here nor from my "supposed" german support. That kills even the little rest of motivation in me!

There are so many other things I'd like to leave behind, but they are always catching up with me again. Especially some persons that I really really miss...Cannot clear my head - I wish I could...

Hopefully this is just a temporarely feeling and gets away soon...
...need to write it down, otherwise it'll devours me! You have absolutely no idea how it is to have nobody arround yourself that you can trust and talk to how you used to do all the time!

...where the fuck is that delete button?

...a little summary out of Christian's Master Thesis...

...taken from the Thesis with the title: "Video Rate Control Algorithm for Broadcasting of MPEG-4 over DVB Null Packets"

"...Matched filters are filters having a frequency response adapted and thus optimized to the frequency spectrum of the information bearing singnal in consideration of the multipath properties of the particular transmission channel..."

...GOT IT?????...hehe!

complicated titles and content are forming a nice looking work...:-)

...I switched my blog into English 'cause people over here still tryin' to figure out hard about the tonguebreaking german and, of course, I recieve a lot more appreciation for my blog-work from them!

(Trotzdem Danke an alle die noch fleissig lesen!)

back in my chosen homeland

...made it back to Singapore, once again! Up to this time I guess I had more departures and arrivals at Changi than I ever had in Frankfurt...funny though...

Wouldn't there be this massive heap of work...hmm...it might feels like a neverending vacation. Don't miss anything back home!

So, what more can I say instead of this...? Thailand was nice! Had my first diving experiences and some other...:-)

Btw, thanx to: the dutch diving crew - Wijnald, Natasha and Leo for the stunning dives, the boat crew for the nice ride, the kitchen crew for the green curry, the massage crew for dispersing my body and the sore muscles, Palm for the nice last evening:-) and everyone else who made this stay that amazing!

...first of all: HAPPY NEW YEAR!

hmmm...what can I say, indeed it is 2006! Hopefully a year with the same success than 2005!
Did everybody have had the same incredible start into the new year!? I guess so...

Let me think of NYE...:

Although there wasn't the same big crowd in the club than in Heidelberg, the party was absolutely amazing! Makoto hit the turntables...what more can I say!?

Thanks to the Singapore party crew who came to "Homeclub" because of the music, not because of beeing hip!
Also very big thanks to Kelvin from "Homeclub" for having Makoto and Deeizm there! (hey, ...and don't worry about the business, man...the people really appreciate your efforts in having such a special guest here!).

And, of course, biggest thanks to the queen of NYE, Deeizm! Thank you Selly for the vocals and the three hour set! Especially the bonus one at 5 o' clock!
(...remember the sample I told u about...:-) - put it on your new album, people will love it!) Hopefully I will see u guys soon again...have a nice trip to Japan! We'll keep in touch&see u soon!

Cheers, Thomas
